Nightly data sync between StructionSite & DroneDeploy

During your transition from StructionSite to DroneDeploy, data from projects not yet upgraded will be synced from StructionSite to DroneDeploy in a nightly sync.

What information is synced from StructionSite to DroneDeploy?

Data sync only occurs on projects that have not yet been upgraded to DroneDeploy. If you are able to edit the project in StructionSite, that means the project has not yet been upgraded and will sync to DroneDeploy. If the project in StructionSite is view only, that means the project has already been upgraded and any new data should be uploaded directly to DroneDeploy.

How often does the sync occur?

The sync happens once a night for all customers. If changes are made to a StructionSite project after the last sync, it will be picked up during the next sync and added to the view-only project in DroneDeploy.

What time does the nightly sync occur? How long will it take?

The sync will begin after 6:00 PM Pacific Time (01:00 UTC). The length of time the sync takes each night will vary depending on how much data is being transferred across the entire StructionSite user base. You will see a banner on the "Upgrade StructionSite Projects" tab that displays the date and time of the last sync for your reference. The time displayed is in your local time zone.
