How can I share my Plant Health and Stand Count results with a grower or partner who does not have a DroneDeploy account?
The Answer
You can share your Stand Count and Plant Health data directly from your computer (Web App) or the Flight App by using a public sharing link or by generating a report. This allows the recipient to view the data without requiring them to log in to an account.
Deliverables
- A Stand Count PDF report is directly shareable over SMS, Email, and most messaging platforms
- An interactive map that allows you to review results and overlay data like plant health and elevation
- Detailed analysis for each image with populations, stands highlighted, and gaps detected
- Data synced back to the Web App for easy viewing and sharing
Sharing via Computer (Web App)
Using a Public Share Link: Generating a link allows the grower to view an interactive version of the map and Stand Count data on any web browser. The end user does not need a DroneDeploy account.
Open the desired project in your account via web browser at dronedeploy.com.
Click on the Share icon at the top right of the project.
Click the View-Only Link button. This generates a unique URL for that specific map and report.

Click the Link, which will copy it to your clipboard, where you can send it to anyone via email, text message, or other messaging platforms. The grower can then interact with the data and view Stand Count data without an account.
The view-only link will only populate if you've selected a specific date of capture at the top of your project! View-Only link location
Sharing the PDF Report: If you prefer to provide a static document of your Stand Count data, you can generate and send a report:
Open the project via a web browser and navigate to the completed Stand Count layer.
Select the Report button. This will compile the data into a summarized format.
Click the Share or Export icon within the report view.
Select your preferred method (such as Email or Save to Files) to send the PDF report directly to the grower. The report includes the map imagery, count totals, and health analysis.
