The Question

Is it possible to reprocess Stand Count data that I have already collected, and how long do I have to do so before the images are removed from my device?

The Answer

You can reprocess previously collected Stand Count data directly within the DroneDeploy Flight App, provided the images are still stored on your local device. Images are saved temporarily and are automatically deleted after a set period:

  • iOS Devices: Images remain available for reprocessing on the device for approximately two days.

  • Mavic 3 Enterprise (RC Pro): Images remain available for processing on the controller for seven days.

  • Immediate loss of reprocess option (both iOS and M3E): If the pilot logs out of the DroneDeploy Flight app or deletes/reinstalls the app, the local cache (including Stand Count images) is cleared.
  • Once that happens, the Reprocess button is permanently unavailable for those flights, even if you’re still within the 2‑ or 7‑day window.

To reprocess your data:

  1. Open the DroneDeploy Flight App on the device used for capture.

  2. Locate the specific Stand Count report.

  3. Click the three dots (ellipsis icon) next to the report to access the reprocessing option.
