How can I share plant health and stand count data with my grower if they don’t have a DroneDeploy account?

Deliverables

  • A stand assessment PDF report directly sharable over SMS, Email, and most messaging platforms

PDF Report and Data Sharing

By tapping on the Stand Count layer in your sidebar you will see all reports generated for the selected day. From here you may select to generate a Report which will load a shareable PDF. You may also delete a stand count report using the three dots to the right.

Sharing Report via Mobile App:

  • Open the Report in the DroneDeploy mobile app 
  • Click on the share button at the top right

  • This will allow you to share the PDF Report with the native sharing functionality over SMS, Email, Slack, or most other messaging platforms.

Sharing the project via Mobile App: 

You may want to share the Stand Count project with a grower who does not have a DroneDeploy account. This will allow them to view the project in a View-Only state (no editing features). 

  • Click on the Share button at the bottom of the project

  • This will open the sharing modal where you will select the "View-Only" button at the bottom (do not enter an email at the top). 
  • The View-Only link will copy to your mobile device clipboard and you can then paste the link via SMS, Email, or any other platform you use. 
  • The recipient will click on the link and they will have View-Only access to the Stand Count Project

Web Access

DroneDeploy will sync your results to the DroneDeploy web experience where you will be able to review data, and images, and generate your PDF report from the web. A cellular or WiFi data connection is used to upload from your mobile device. With synced data, you may share the project with other users to review.

Sharing Report via Web:

  • Click on the blue Report button 
  • Then, click on the download button at the top right

  • This will download the Report to your computer which you can then distribute via Email or any other sharing platform you use

 

 

Sharing the project via the Web: 

  • Similar to the web report sharing above you will click on the blue Share button at the top right of the project
  • This will open the sharing modal where you will select the "View-Only" button at the bottom (do not enter an email at the top). 
  • The view-only link will only populate if you've selected a specific date of capture at the top of your project!
