Overview
The Annotation feature allows you to manage and organize the measurements and notes you create on your map. This includes the ability to search, filter by type, and sort by date so you can quickly find and focus on the information you need.

This feature is available to all DroneDeploy customers.
How to Filter and Sort Annotations
The Annotation menu provides tools to help you manage your annotations.
Access the Annotations Panel Open your project in DroneDeploy and navigate to the Explore tab. Locate the sidebar menu on the left side of the screen and click Annotations.
Filter Annotations by Type
Find the Filter menu within the Annotations panel.
Click the Filter menu to open the filter options.
Select the desired annotation type (e.g., area, distance, volume). Only annotations of the selected type will display on the map and in the panel.
Sort Annotations
Click the Sort options to choose how you want to organize the list.
Sort annotations by date created or date modified.
Search for a Specific Annotation
Use the Search bar in the Annotations panel to find annotations by title.
Type the name of the annotation you are looking for.
Key Features/Details
Quick Search: You can search for specific annotations using their title.
Targeted Viewing: You can use the Filter menu to view only annotations of a certain type.
Organized List: You can organize your annotations list by when they were created or last modified.
Visibility Control: You can select or hide specific annotations to focus on those that are most important.
