The Photo Inspection workflow streamlines how users inspect drone data. This process allows users to upload individual photo media to conduct inspections, eliminating the need for an existing orthomosaic or a drone flight associated with the project.
Photo Report Mobile Capture
Photo Reports can be created using the Walkthrough app on mobile. This functionality is available to all trial users or customers with a 360 walkthrough subscription. Links for further reading on Photo Reports, Mobile Capture, and paid subscription plans are available.
How to Use Photo Inspection
Upload Photos
In your project, navigate to the Upload tab.
Click New Upload.
Choose the photos you want to upload and click Upload.
Note: When you upload a set of photos, the photos are grouped in the sidebar and on the report. Photo groups cannot be combined after upload, so use upload groups to organize your data.
Once the photos are uploaded, photo pins will appear on the map, with each pin representing a group of photos.
Media Gallery
Photos are organized in photo groups on the left side of the map. To view the media, click on an image from the photo group in the sidebar or from a pin on the map.
Create a Field Note
Click on a specific photo to enter the photo view.
Select the Field Note creation icon.
Click an area in the photo to create the Field Note.
Fill out the Type, Status, Summary, and Severity fields.
Click Done.
An orange photo marker will indicate the Field Note.
The Field Note is also available in that date's Field Note Report.
