Overview
The Field Notes feature allows you to create, manage, and track notes directly on 360° pano images (panoramas) for both interior and exterior captures. This functionality expands the range of media types available for thorough documentation and comprehensive site management. Whether you are performing 360 Walks or using static panoramic images, you can mark and track field notes across various visual data types.
Availability
Field Notes on 360 Panos is included for all paid DroneDeploy Aerial subscriptions. This feature is available in the Interior or Exterior view of a project.
How to use Field Notes on 360 Panos
Follow these steps to create a Field Note on a 360 panorama:
Open your Project and View: Navigate to your project, and then select the Interior or Exterior view.

Select a Pano and Inspection: Conduct inspections by selecting the 360 pano on which you will create the field note.

Open the Field Note Tool: Select the Field Note annotation tool, which is located on the right-hand side of the screen when the pano opens.

Draw and Label the Field Note:
Click and drag to draw a box around the problem or area that needs attention.

Label the field note and provide any additional information in the Summary section.
