Overview
With the introduction of Fixed Camera Integration in DroneDeploy, customers can seamlessly incorporate their fixed camera feeds into their reality capture workflow. This feature allows users to access and view their fixed camera feed directly within the DroneDeploy platform.
Availability
Fixed Camera Integration is currently exclusive to enterprise customers. Non-AEC enterprise customers interested in using this feature should contact support@dronedeploy.com to request enablement.
This service supports a wide range of fixed camera providers, including:
CamDo
EverCam
Lobster Pictures
OxBlue
Sensera
SiteKick
TimeScapes
TrueLook
DroneDeploy is continuously expanding its list of supported cameras, and new models may be added.
How to set up fixed camera integration
Admins, coordinators, and editors who created a project within DroneDeploy can link or unlink fixed cameras.
Follow these steps to set up your fixed camera integration:
Obtain your shared link from your fixed camera provider. Refer to the provider's documentation or support for guidance if you are unsure where to find it.
Navigate to the Cameras tab within the DroneDeploy platform to access the Fixed Camera Integration settings.
Paste your link into the designated field within the DroneDeploy interface.
Click Submit to initiate the integration process.
View your fixed camera feed directly within the DroneDeploy platform once the link is successfully submitted.
Limitations
Fixed Camera Integration is exclusive to enterprise customers.
Only admins, coordinators, and editors who created a project can link or unlink a fixed camera.
