DroneDeploy Aerial

RTK Network Expansion - Expanded coverage for DroneDeploy's RTK Network.
In-flight RTK - Connect quickly and increase the number of available satellites by connecting to RTK in-flight.
Geometry Copying - Easily duplicate flight plans by copying geometry between Photo Report plans and Video plans—and vice versa.
Exterior Mapbox Upgrade - The underlying Map Libraries that provide the visual map layer for our platform has been migrated from Leaflet to Mapbox for the exterior explore page to improve performance and visualization for aerial customers.
Dock Multi-battery Flight - Fly a mission that requires multiple batteries to complete. The drone will return to the dock to recharge and continue the mission where it left off.
Issues Removed from Annotation Toolbar - Issues have been removed from the annotation toolbar to simplify the user interface and align with customer workflows.

DroneDeploy Ground

Autodesk Build Integration Improvement - Closing the gap with StructionSite migrating customers, there were key gaps in feature parity for the DroneDeploy-ACC Build integration as compared to the StructionSite-ACC Build integration now users can import a drawing from ACC Build to an Interior Level, and allows users to auto-sync project media to ACC
Procore Integration Improvement - Allow drawings to be imported from Procore and to automatically update with new versions on the Interior (as Overlays).  Additionally, users can auto-export media from Interior (Photos, Panos, and Walk keyframes)
Interior Offline Deliverable HTML Viewer - Ability to access an immersive HTML viewer portal through the Offline PDF Deliverable so that users that are not in a DroneDeploy project can view media as if they were in DroneDeploy
Interior PDF Download Support for Media Groups - Users that are using an Offline PDF Deliverable will now be able to view media groups on the PDF as an “open circle” icon and click on that icon to be taken to a table of contents listing each media type and an HTML link to view it
Photo Direction and Capture Automation - When uploading ground photos to the web, users will now be instructed to set the orientation of the first image in relation to the drawing on that level in order to show the direction that the photo was taken from.  In addition, on mobile devices, the internal compass will now track that direction and apply a directional cone to the image
Grouped Walk Reports for Safety AI - Safety AI walk reports will now be grouped in 4 hr window blocks depending on when the task finished processing.  This will reduce the total number of emails that customers receive from DroneDeploy.  Emails will be sent automatically to the distribution list of the project with a downloadable link directly to the PDF report.
Calibrate BIM Alignment per Level / Exterior - When aligning a BIM model to a project, users can optionally calibrate that alignment for specific Levels or the Exterior.  This addresses a key challenge in using BIM Compare on Ground-only projects where Levels are not necessarily aligned to one another.
Automatic Level Creation - Simplify overlay upload and level creation, allowing direct overlay upload from the overlay list.
Issues Changing to Field Notes- As part of the StructionSite migration, we have renamed “Issues” in the DroneDeploy web app to “Field Notes”.  This update offers a broader connotation than “Issues” and can be used to describe a variety of items.  Additionally, the use of “Field Notes” will more closely align with StructionSite terminology and better support many current and future workflows.
Viewing Field Notes on Standard Photos - View Field Notes (formerly known as Issues) on Standard Photos while in the field. Access Field Notes from the new Field Notes tab on the Project’s content page or directly from the photo’s media pin noted on the map/drawing. (Internet connection required).
Field Notes + Card Layout - Toggle between card layout (default) and the list layout, allowing users to preview Field Notes from the left side panel.
