The Multi-Battery Flight feature allows DroneDeploy users to map large areas using the DJI Dock. It enables continuous flights that span multiple battery charges. This feature is ideal for covering extensive areas—such as data centers, solar farms, or other large-scale projects—without interruptions.
Key Features:
- Automatic Flight Continuation: Pilots will need to click continue mission once the battery is charged. Mission Chaining is also not supported once released for multi-battery. Just individual standard flight plans.
- Single Map Stitching: All flights, even those across multiple battery cycles, will be uploaded and stitched into one cohesive map.
- Supported on Both Docks: This feature is available for both Dock 1 and Dock 2.
- Perfect for Large-Scale Mapping: Ideal for projects covering areas greater than 100 acres.
Who Should Use This Feature?
This feature is perfect for customers who need to map large properties, such as:
- Data Centers
