Operations and compliance
Flight Records: Track detailed logs for every mission.
Equipment Tracking: Manage drone and dock hardware status.
Pilot Tracking: Maintain records of remote pilots for compliance.
Multi-flight Mapping Missions: These flights stitch into one large map. The drone waits to charge and then continues the mission automatically. More details on Multi-Battery Flight with DJI Dock.
Mission Chaining (Open Beta): Chain multiple plans together so the drone completes several objectives before returning to the dock.
Limitations and considerations
Flight Scheduling: Remote pilots must monitor every flight to meet current Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) requirements.
Pause and Resume Missions: Paused missions do not automatically upload data to the DroneDeploy cloud. Notify the Support team to investigate at support@dronedeploy.com.
Geofencing: Setup assistance for geofencing is available through your DroneDeploy representative.
Livestream: This feature is unavailable at this time. Contact the Support team for alternative options.
Manual Flight: Users can utilize fly-to-point functionality for specific mission needs.
Terrain Following: This is supported for the flight plan area only. It does not apply to introduction or outro flight legs.
Travel Altitude: Set the Travel Altitude in Advanced Settings for Map plans to ensure the drone flies at the correct height. This is available for Map plans; support for Panorama, Photo or Video missions is expected in future versions.
