The Smart Uploader supports only JPG or JPEG image formats for map plans. As a result, you must convert Digital Negative (DNG) files to JPG/JPEG before uploading.
To ensure compatibility, you can use photo editing or conversion tools (such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or free online converters) to convert your DNG files into high-quality JPG/JPEG files.
If you use MacOS, an easy way to do this is by using the Convert Image Quick Action in Finder. This built-in method provides a fast and convenient way for Mac users to make their DNG files compatible with the Smart Uploader without needing additional software.
Converting images using MacOS Finder
Select all your DNG images in Finder.
Right-click the selected DNG files in Finder.
Select Quick Actions > Convert Image.
In the pop-up window, choose JPEG as the format and keep the default image size. It is important to preserve the metadata.
Click Convert to JPEG.
