Edge annotations
Edge annotations are a feature available in 3D that allows users to add line work to any 3D model and then export those annotations as a Drawing Exchange Format (DXF) file.
Availability: Who has access?
Edge Annotations are available on Advanced, Teams, and Enterprise plans.
Edge Annotations are available in the 3D map view only.
The feature is not supported on any mobile device.
How to use Edge Annotations
Use the following steps to capture and export your Edge Annotations:
Add Edge Annotations. You can add Edge Annotations to any 3D model in your project.
Center your view (Optional). If you are having trouble navigating the 3D model to select the point you want, double-click on the model to center the camera on that point.
Export the Annotations. Once you complete the line work on your map, you can export the data into a DXF file for AutoCAD.
Select Export in the bottom left corner of the plan.
Select Edge Annotations.
Choose the File Type and Coordinate System.
Click Export.

Structure Measurement: Edge Annotations are intended to capture the measurements of a structure. This differs from the line annotation tool, which measures elevation or length in a single line.
DXF Export: Users can export the line work into a Drawing Exchange Format (DXF) file.
Limitations
Mobile Support: Edge Annotations are not supported on any mobile device.
Export Type: Only manual export is supported. Auto-export is not available for this feature.
