What cameras/payloads are supported for M300 flights with DroneDeploy?

DroneDeploy only supports the H20 and H20T payloads at this time. (The P1, XT2, Z30, and L1 payloads are NOT supported at this time. If you are using one of these unsupported cameras with the M300, you will see the ‘Limited Drone Support’ messaging in the preflight checklist and not be able to fly.)

How do you connect the M300 smart controller with DroneDeploy?

  1. Power on your "DJI Smart Controller Enterprise" controller
  2. Power on your M300 drone
  3. Plug Smart Controller into iPhone/iPad with DroneDeploy app and USB cable
  4. Open DD app and start planning your mission

Note: DroneDeploy is not currently available to run on smart controllers. You must use the DroneDeploy app on your mobile device.

Can you connect to the RTK network via the DroneDeploy app?

No, we don’t currently connect to the RTK network. The DroneDeploy Flight app does not currently support RTK technology for flight planning. You will need to fly with the DJI app to be able to use the RTK functionality, but you can still upload and process the data in DroneDeploy.

Is this supported on Android?

Support for this drone is iOS only.

The H20 has 2 different lenses (wide and zoom), which one does DroneDeploy capture with? And can I change that?

DroneDeploy will default to capture with the wide lens. You cannot change which lens you capture with at this time.

The H20T has 3 different lenses (wide, zoom, and thermal), which one does DroneDeploy capture with? And can I change that?

DroneDeploy will default to capture the thermal and zoom lenses. You cannot change which lens you capture with at this time.

What plans will work for the M300?

All DroneDeploy plans are supported.

Are flight logs stored?

Yes, we will record and save flight logs from M300 flights.

Does this support LiveMap?

Yes, LiveMap is supported.

I received a Camera Focus Failed error. Why?

Open DJI GS Pro, and ensure you're focus mode is set to "Auto". Force close DJI, and reopen DroneDeploy to proceed.
