This guide provides information about the recommended and supported devices for using the DroneDeploy application on mobile and tablet devices. For the best performance, security, and user experience, we recommend operating the DroneDeploy Flight App on specific Apple and Samsung devices, as well as several DJI controllers.
Recommended Devices We officially test and support the following devices for the DroneDeploy Flight App:

Supported Apple Devices: We recommend iOS 14 or newer. Ensure your device has at least 1 GB of free disk space.

Note on GPS: Only devices with integrated GPS/cellular provide the accurate geolocation data required for real-time positional tracking. Wi-Fi-only devices may struggle with this feature.
