In adherence to trade US regulations, DroneDeploy is unavailable for download in the countries of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea Region of Ukraine.

If you are looking for the best experience, performance, and security, we recommend you run DroneDeploy using the following device families:

  • Apple iPad Pro, iPad (2020+) or iPad Mini 5
  • Apple iPhone 11 or newer

Apple iOS is most reliable for mapping
Over 75% of DroneDeploy flights are made with Apple iOS devices. We consistently see greater application stability, performance and DJI drone connectivity on the Apple iOS operating system.

iOS Devices

Recommended operating system: iOS 14+ (iOS 13 minimum required) and 1GB of free disk space. For the best experience, we recommend using the Apple-brand cable.

Live Map and Stand Count

Live Map and Stand Count require a powerful processor and ample RAM to work properly. We suggest devices from 2020 and newer.

Android Devices

Recommended: Android 10+ and 1Gb of free disk space

There are over 1,000 Android device types used by DroneDeploy customers worldwide, and unfortunately, we cannot test them all. We officially test releases on the following prioritized hardware:

  • Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+
  • Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+
  • Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 edge
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 5
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S4
