Upload DXFs of contour and site maps to be viewed and interacted with in DroneDeploy's 2D and 3D Explore page.
To upload a DXF, choose Add in the left panel of your project next to Overlays
Then, select the option for 2D/3D Visualization
Upload your DXF File and wait for the on screen prompts to let you know this is uploading:
Completed overlays will appear in the left panel. Click into this panel to show additional layer options:
Toggle them on and off with the check box:
Click on a file name to reveal additional options such as attributes, color and opacity:
DXFs will visualize over your map when toggled on:
Interacting with your DXF
Select DXF features to reveal attribute details, or create annotations:
Easily select polygons in your DXF to add volumes and area annotations:
These annotations can be measured and reported on through the Annotations tab:
Viewing in 3D

Is there a size limitation on DXF files?
There is no limit published at this time. If you have issues uploading your file, please reach out to support@dronedeploy.com
What attribute types are supported?
We support the following Entity types: LINE, CIRCLE, ARC, POLYLINE, LWPOLYLINE, BLOCK, and INSERT
