Overview
Users may occasionally encounter issues loading the 3D model, Orthomosaic (2D map), Base Layer map, Plant Health, Elevation, or Map Export. These display and performance issues are often resolved by ensuring the internet browser is compatible and up to date.
Troubleshooting map viewing issues
If maps or models are not loading correctly, follow these steps to optimize the browser:
Use Google Chrome: DroneDeploy is optimized for Google Chrome. If you are not already using it, switch to Chrome for the best experience.
Update the browser: If you are already using Google Chrome, ensure it is updated to the latest version.
Clear cache and cookies: Resetting the browser cache can resolve loading errors. Clear the browser cache and cookies (it is not necessary to clear browsing history). Refer to Google Chrome support for specific instructions.
Troubleshooting export issues
If the subscription supports exports but an export attempt fails, try the following steps:
Refresh the page: This clears temporary settings that may be causing the error.
Clear cached data: Clear the browser's cached data.
Restart the browser: Close and reopen the browser to reset the session.
