DroneDeploy now supports the DJI Matrice 4E (M4E) for stand count flights. This support covers the same set of models compatible with the M3E.
Overview
The M4E provides high-resolution capture for stand count analysis.
Availability: Who has access?

Altitude Guidance for Zoom-Lens Models
For stand count models that utilize the zoom lens, such as Corn VE/V1, we recommend flying the M4E between 92-100ft.
Start at the default 92ft. If images return no result, increase the altitude toward 100ft.
Key Details
- Field of View Considerations: The M4E zoom lens has a narrower field of view than the M3E. At 92ft, some images may not contain the minimum number of plants required for the model to trigger a result. If this is happening, widen the capture footprint and increase your altitude closer to 100ft
- Wide-Lens Models: Models using the wide-angle lens (Corn V2/V3 and Soybean V2/V3) do not require altitude adjustments. The M3E and M4E use the same wide-angle camera hardware.
