Single Media PDF Export

Have more questions? Submit a request

Generate a clean, shareable PDF report for a single photo, 360 pano, or walkthrough keyframe, directly from the Media Viewer. The report bundles the image, project context, and capture details into one file, so it stands on its own without extra explanation. Anyone can open the report, even without a DroneDeploy account.

This is useful for documentation, project closeouts, and settling questions about what a site looked like on a specific date.

Note: This is different from Interior PDF Download, which exports an entire interior level with all of its media pins and is limited to Ground Enterprise customers on ACV or Projects pricing. The Media Viewer PDF Report covers a single piece of media and is available more broadly. See the FAQs below for more on the difference.

Availability

  • Viewer: Available in the New Interior viewer. Not yet available for exterior media.
  • Media types: Photos, 360 panos, and walkthroughs (as a keyframe report). Video is not supported.

How to generate a PDF Report

  1. Open a project's Explore tab in the New Interior viewer.
  2. Click into a photo, 360 pano, or walkthrough to open the Media Viewer.
    select media.jpg
  3. Click Share in the top bar of the viewer.
    share options-2.jpg
  4. In the Share modal, click PDF Report.

Your report generates and downloads within a few seconds.

What's included in the report

Each PDF Report bundles the following into a single file:

  • The image itself (photo, pano, or walkthrough keyframe).
  • Project context, including the project name, capture date, and who captured it.
  • Capture metadata for the item.
  • The item's location on the floor plan, including its view cone.

Limitations

  • Only available in the New Interior viewer. Exterior media does not have this option yet.
  • Video is not supported.
  • For walkthroughs, the report covers the selected keyframe only, not the full walk path.
