DroneDeploy allows you to automatically sync your map exports directly to Egnyte. By configuring an Auto Export, your team can access actionable data in your preferred storage solution as soon as a map completes processing.
Availability
Egnyte support is available for all paid DroneDeploy Aerial subscriptions.
Configuring Auto Exports is available to Enterprise-level administrators.
Your organization must own a project to add Auto Exports to it.
How to use Sync to Egnyte
Follow these steps to set up an automatic sync to your Egnyte account.
1. Install the Egnyte app
Log into your DroneDeploy account.
Navigate to the App Market in the side panel.
Search for Egnyte and click Install for My Organisation
2. Connect to Egnyte
Open a project in DroneDeploy.
Click on Export in the bottom left of the Explore tab.
Navigate to Auto and Create new to open the settings window.
Click Connect Egnyte and a new window will appear; log in with your credentials to authorize the connection.
3. Connect with your project
Choose the specific folder where you want the data to be stored.
Click Select in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

A notification will appear confirming the Auto Export has been created.
Auto-Exports within Egnyte
Key Features
Folder Structure: DroneDeploy creates a dedicated "DroneDeploy" folder in your Egnyte root directory. Subfolders are organized by project name and date.
File Extensions: Supported file types include JPGs, PDFs and TIFFs.
Version Control: If you re-process a map, the new version uploads to Egnyte without overwriting the previous version.
Limitations
The integration does not support the sync of raw images.
Supported file formats for sync include JPEG, PDF, GeoTIFF (.zip), DXF/SHP (.zip), Shapefile (.zip), OBJ (.zip), LAS (.zip), XYZ Point Cloud (.zip) and RCP (.zip).
Individual file size limits are 500 MB for unzipped files and 1,000 for zipped files.

Q: Does the sync work for historical projects? A: Yes. You can manually trigger a sync for any previously completed project by clicking Sync to Egnyte in the project settings.
Q: Can I connect multiple Egnyte accounts? A: Currently, only one Egnyte account can be linked per DroneDeploy user profile
