2D Photos
Capture 2D photos from your phone of anything on your job site. Add a 2D photo from your camera roll on your device too. Great for on-the-spot documentation and collaboration
360 Panoramas
Capture a 360 image anywhere on site. Great for higher quality 360 images and progress photos.
Walks
Capture walks to cover large areas of your site at once. Great for weekly and milestone documentation as well as inspections.

How To Capture a Walk
Overview of How to Capture a Walk:
Comprehensive Step-by-Step on How to Capture a Walk:
- Steps 1 and 2:
Sign into the DroneDeploy Ground App and then select the project you wish to capture on or create a new project. Select the level or floor plan you wish to capture on and then select the mode of capture.

Steps 3 and 4:
Connect to your 360 camera by connecting to its WiFi or via Bluetooth (detailed information here) . Start your capture and move the crosshairs to your starting location for a walk (the exact position of where you are standing).

Steps 5 and 6:
Walk the entire path of your job site to capture all data required. Once complete, hit the stop button and move the crosshairs to the ending location of the walk (the exact position of where you are standing).

Steps 7 and 8:
Upload your captures directly through the mobile app. Once processed you will be able to view your 2D, 360 photos, and walk captures on the web app.
How To Capture a 360 Pano
Connect to your 360 camera, select the 360 Pano option on the slider, and then move the crosshairs to the location of the photo (exactly where you are standing).
Kindly be aware that the capture of 360 Panos is exclusive to the 360 Camera and cannot be accomplished solely using the mobile device. However, preprocessed panoramas are welcome for upload if they are captured with a different camera not directly supported by DroneDeploy, such as a GoPro 360 camera.
Dual-fisheye panoramas are not currently supported. Please convert to Equirectangular using your camera software before uploading.
How To Capture a 2D Photo
Connect to your 360 camera, select the Photo option on the slider at the bottom of the screen, and then move the crosshairs to the location of the photo (exactly where you are standing).
