This article provides instructions for updating the firmware on your Insta360 and Ricoh ground cameras to ensure compatibility with the DroneDeploy Ground App.
Insta360 Models
Update using the Insta360 App
Connect your camera to your phone via Wi-Fi and Open the Insta360 App. The App should Prompt you for an update, or you can check for the update manually:
Navigate to Settings.
Select About Insta360.
Select Firmware.
Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the update.

Ricoh Models
Update using the Ricoh Theta App
Connect your camera to your phone via Wi-Fi and Open the Ricoh Theta App.
Navigate to Settings.
Select Camera settings.
Select Firmware version.
If a newer version is available, select Download and install.
Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the update.
