Supported Devices for the DroneDeploy Ground App
The DroneDeploy Ground App is fully supported only on iOS devices. This includes iPhones and iPads running the latest versions of iOS. iOS devices have been thoroughly tested with our app to ensure they meet the performance and reliability standards necessary for ground capture.
We recommend iOS 16 at a minimum or newer. Ensure your device has at least 1 GB of free disk space.

No, at this time, the DroneDeploy Ground App does not support Android devices.
2. Which iOS version is required to run the DroneDeploy Ground App?
To use the DroneDeploy Ground App, your iPhone or iPad must be running iOS 17 or later. It is always recommended to use the latest iOS version for the best performance and security.
3. Can I use the DroneDeploy Ground App on older iPhone models?
The DroneDeploy Ground App is optimized for newer iPhone models, starting from iPhone X and above. While the app may function on older models, performance and user experience may be significantly impacted.
4. Will DroneDeploy support Android devices in the future?
While Android support is not currently available, we continuously assess and may consider expanding compatibility in the future. Stay tuned for updates from DroneDeploy.
