You can connect your 360 Camera in the DroneDeploy Ground App using the automatic Nearby Camera option for Insta360 models or manually connecting any supported camera via the Camera List option.
A 360 Camera is only required for Pano and Walk captures.
Automatic Connection (Insta360 cameras only)
Follow these steps to automatically connect a supported Insta360 camera:
Open the Ground App and navigate to the Capture tab.
Select Pano or Walk.
Choose Nearby Camera.
The app will prompt you to connect to the camera's Wi-Fi network. Select Join to allow your mobile device to connect.
Once your camera is connected, you can begin your capture. For instructions on how to update your camera's firmware, see Update your Ground Camera Firmware.
Manual Connection (Any supported camera)
Follow these steps to manually connect any supported camera:
Open the Ground App and navigate to the Capture tab.
Select Pano or Walk.
Choose Camera List.
Select your camera from the list.
Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your camera's Wi-Fi network.
Once your camera is connected, you can begin your capture.
