Any tips for ideal altitude for volume measurements of stockpiles?

Calculating accurate stockpile volumes requires high-quality map data. Capturing the right level of detail at the correct altitude ensures your volume measurements are precise and reliable.

A good practice, if you are mapping with the intention of measuring volume, is to fly your mission at a tiered altitude—for example, one flight at 200ft and a second at 75ft. Supplementing overhead imagery with oblique images further improves accuracy by capturing side details and benches.
