This guide explains how to add an exterior location to a project that was originally created with an interior focus. It provides a step-by-step process for adding the project location and getting it ready for flight planning.

How to add a project location

If you have a project in the Interior tab and need to add an exterior location, follow these steps to add an address or coordinates.

  1. Navigate to the Exterior tab.

  2. Enter the project location. In the pop-up window, enter the address or coordinates of your flight plan.

  3. Confirm the site. Confirm the pin shows the correct location and then click Next.

  4. Enter project details. Fill in the project name and details, then click Create.

Your project now has a defined location. You can now navigate to the Fly tab to plan your flight.

  • Switch between the Interior and Exterior tabs as needed.
  • Define the location for your flight plan.
  • Prepare your project for flight planning

Limitations

This process is only for adding a location to an existing project. It does not affect the interior floor plan.
