What is a project?
A project in DroneDeploy is a central hub for all the data and information related to a specific site or job. You can create a project to store maps, 3D models, panoramas, and other documents. Projects are accessible from any device.
The four tabs of a Project: Fly, Upload, Explore, & Report
FLY: Reusable flight templates can be found on the 'Fly' tab. A flight template is similar to what used to be known as a flight plan. The difference is that you can fly a template as many times as you'd like without copying it. This helps to remove variability when you're tracking change over time. Learn more info about the FLY tab.
UPLOAD: The Upload tab on mobile will show you any pending uploads and processing datasets. If you need to upload data, you will use the Web app. Learn more about the Upload tab.
EXPLORE: Here is where you can view all your uploaded and processed data. Learn more about the EXPLORE tab.
REPORT: The Report tab currently hosts all your Reports on that project. Learn more about the Report tab.
