One of Progress AI’s core features is customizable visibility. Your team can control who can view and interact with the data created by Progress AI, which is why this feature is built directly into the DroneDeploy web app.
Note: This feature is only accessible to the project owner and any project coordinators. Organization owners must add themselves as coordinators at the project level to gain access to Progress AI. If you do not have the requisite permissions, you will not be able to manage access to Progress AI for your project.
How to manage Progress AI access
Follow these steps to manage which users have access to Progress AI data and reports on your project:
- Navigate to the DroneDeploy web app and open one of your projects that is running Progress AI.
- In the top right corner, click the gear icon to open the project settings in the left side panel.
- Go to the section titled “Progress AI.” Click the “Manage Progress AI Access” link.
- A pop-up appears that allows you to manage which users have access to Progress AI on this project. Provisioning access will make the Progress AI tab accessible to any user added.
- Please note that you can only provide Progress AI access to users who have already been added to the project. To add new users, please reference our Data Sharing article.
- Click the dropdown menu to expand the list of users who have access to the project.
- Click the checkboxes for any users whom you would like to provide Progress AI access.
- Click the dropdown menu again to collapse the list of users. Any users you select will be added to a list of team members who have access to Progress AI.
- Click the Save button to return to your project. A hard refresh of this page will make the Progress AI tab visible for new users.
