The Analytics Dashboard shares deeper insights into your organization’s project usage, capture and data analysis. To access this feature in the web app, navigate to the Main Menu and select Analytics Dashboard.

The Analytics Dashboard contains four sections, which appear as tabs at the top of the dashboard. Each section follows a similar structure: the top half displays standalone metrics and the bottom half displays various charts and tables.
Overview
The Overview section offers a high-level perspective of all projects within your organization.
Activity
The Activity section provides insights on total activity and processing metrics.

Projects
The Projects section breaks down your organization’s projects by type.
Top 10 Projects: This stacked bar chart shows the projects with the most activity.
Project Activity Table: Use this resource to compare projects side-by-side.
Clicking the project names in this table takes you directly to the project.
Users
The Users section helps you understand who maximizes DroneDeploy usage within your organization.

Filters
Each section of the Analytics Dashboard includes a combination of the following filters:
Date: Set relative, advanced or custom date filters.
Project Name: Use this searchable, multi-select dropdown list to filter for specific projects.
Email: A multi-select dropdown list of all users added to at least one project.
Folders: These filters represent the folder structure (Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3). The Level 1 folder is the top-level folder. If you apply a filter for a Level 1 folder, the dashboard includes any subsequent folders.
Air or Ground Projects: Specifies whether the project is Aerial, Ground, Unified or Unknown.
Group Name: Isolate data by specific groups if your organization uses groups to manage users.
Access the filters side panel by clicking the Rightward Arrow at the top of the dashboard. After selecting your filters, click Apply Filters to update your dashboards.
Functions
Each chart has similar functionality to customize the content:
All: The unmodified chart where each component in the legend is enabled.
Inv: The inverse of what displays when All is selected.
Zoom: Zooms into a specific time frame identified by the drawn box.
Restore Zoom: Restores the chart to the full date range.
Date Range – Sliding Scale: Adjusts the date range on a chart.
Definitions
The following terms appear in the Analytics Dashboard:
Activity: Any tracked event in DroneDeploy, such as analysis, exports and captures.
Analysis: An examination in DroneDeploy, including creating an annotation, creating a field note, sharing a link, adding an overlay or performing a live stream.
Views: Anytime a user views data in the app, including maps, annotations, walks, reports or shared links.
Exports: Any manual or auto exports, such as Cut/Fill Analysis, 3D Model, Roof Analysis, Safety AI, GeoTIFF Maps or Point Clouds.
Captures: Reality capture data uploaded to DroneDeploy, such as 360° panos, walks, flights, maps or Ground Control Points (GCPs).
FAQs
Q: Who has access to the Analytics Dashboard? A: The dashboard is accessible exclusively to organization administrators.
Q: What browsers support the Analytics Dashboard? A: Use Google Chrome to access the dashboard. The feature does not support Safari, Firefox or Edge.
Q: How often is data renewed? A: Data refreshes daily around 6 pm Pacific Time. You can force refresh data on individual tables or charts through the More menu (three vertical dots) in the top right corner.
Q: How do I get access to the Analytics Dashboard? A: To request access, please contact your Customer Success Manager or Account Executive. If you need help identifying your representative, contact the Support team at support@dronedeploy.com.
Q: Can I export the data from the dashboard? A: Yes. You can download individual charts or tables as CSV, XLSX or JPG files by hovering over the More menu. Additionally, inquire about the Data Exchange to export your data from DroneDeploy.
