Uploading and Viewing Media

Discover how to navigate through your projects, utilize viewing features, and gain valuable perspectives for informed decision-making.

Media Groups

Automatically group media in close proximity through time, preview media via side panel, and see media grouped together as you zoom out.

Media Gallery

Multiple photos in the same location (from a walk or 360 pano) will be visible in the media gallery. If only one photo exists in a location all other photos from the project will be viewable in the media gallery. 

X-Ray Mode

Align previously taken photos with your phone camera in the Mobile Ground app. This will provide an overlay of a previous photo and the live feed from your camera to see behind closed up walls or poured concrete while on site.

Locations

Divide projects into areas of interest and find the latest media grouped by location.

Add Locations

Select “Add” under the Overlays tab then scroll down to Locations. Using the polygon, rectangle or radius tool, draw around the location and then name and group (by location type) the location appropriately.

Issue Reports

Create an Issue Report for specific walk conducted on your job site. Select the date and the individual walk then select Print to save the report as a .pdf.

Progress Reports

Discover automatically generated progress reports that display panos, videos and photos from your job site. Note: Both aerial and ground media will be displayed and walks are not included.

How to Browse Overlays & Maps

The Overlay/Map Selector in the Ground App allows you to select which overlay you wish to display and capture against.

How It Works:

1. Open the Ground App and navigate to the desired level.

2. Tap on the overlay/map selector icon.

3. Choose the overlay/map you wish to display from the list of available overlays.

4. Toggle the overlay/map on or off as needed.

- The app will automatically save your overlay selections for each level. These preferences will be applied the next time you open the level.

How to Browse Walk & Media by Date Filter

Discover how to refine your browsing experience by using date filters. 

Step 1: Select the visibility filter menu icon

Step 2: Select the filter type you want to view

Step 3: Select the range to change the media type you want to view

To manually upload your Walk data for processing, please follow these steps:

How to upload INSV & MP4 Walk files: 

1. 1. Click the UPLOAD tab.
   2. Click on "New Upload."
   3. For .insv files, click "New Upload."
      
      
2. Locate your Walk files .insv or MP4:
   • Drag and drop the ".insv" or "MP4" files.
   • Ensure each Walk has two .insv video files unless capturing with an OneX4 which only has 1 .insv file.
