Availability
Media sorting and filtering are available to all DroneDeploy users within the project view.
How to use media sorting
You can organize your media using two primary methods.
Sort media by Date Filter
Use the date filter to load and display only the media captured within a specific time range.
Open your project in DroneDeploy.
Navigate to the date filter located in the top-right map controls.
Select the desired start and end dates to filter your project media.
Note: Walkthroughs are filtered using the Walk Date Filter on the left-hand sidebar. If you select a specific walk in the sidebar, it will populate regardless of the global date filter settings.
Sort media by date or name
You can change the order in which media appears when browsing specific types.
Select a media type from the sidebar.
Click the Sort By dropdown menu.
Choose Date Captured or Name to reorganize your view.
Key Features
Time Range Selection: View only the data relevant to a specific phase of your project.
Metadata Sorting: Toggle between chronological and alphabetical views for better organization.
Limitations
Selecting a specific walkthrough in the sidebar overrides the global date filter.
Media sorting settings are specific to the current browser session and may reset upon logout.
