How do I install the DroneDeploy Flight app on the Anzu Raptor Remote Controller?
First, customers wanting to fly with DroneDeploy on the Anzu Raptor need the Aloft Air Control App version of at least v1.13.10 to install the DroneDeploy app. Once you have confirmed the latest version of the app, proceed with the steps below:
- On the RC's web browser, type in 'dronedeploy.com/anzu'
- Tap this link on the RC to download the APK file:
- Tap 'Install'
- Once the installation has been completed, open the DroneDeploy app
- Log in to your DroneDeploy account to access your projects and flight plans
NOTE: When you download the app, it may place itself on the second page of the app. From your home screen of apps on the RC, swipe to the left to reveal a second page.

How do I get app updates?
The DroneDeploy app automatically checks for updates each time you open it. If an update is available, you'll see a pop-up asking if you'd like to update your app. You will have the option to update now or be reminded later. Once you choose "Update," the new version will start downloading and being installed.

- Please ensure you have the latest DroneDeploy app version by going to 'dronedeploy.com/anzu' and checking for an update.
- You can connect your controller to Wi-Fi or a mobile hotspot.
- If you need help, please don't hesitate to contact support via in-app chat on your mobile device.
- You can allow Location by visiting Location settings> Apps & Notifications> DroneDeploy > Permissions> Allow Location.
- Login Location: The login profile must be consistent across the controller for single sign-ins. If you're having trouble logging in with SSO, you can log in to your SSO account using the browser on the device first, then try again using the DroneDeploy app.
